A Slightly Normal Day =D

I woke up early in the morning cos need to help my bro in law (known as Ray) selling items from vietnam at Mayflower Secondary school. Ray picked me up at aound 7.45am. I saw the sunrise while inside the van and I took a few pictures of it (but dear claimed that was not sunrise!! haha). We reached Mayflower sec around 8.5oam (bro in law need to drive back to his hse and load the stocks to his van) and the teacher in charge told us that actually they had meeting till 9.30am and we can only set up our "booth" around 10am. So Ray and me went to have breakfast at the school canteen (those secondary school old memories started to flash back in my mind, haha) . I had prawn noodles for breakfast. After that ,we started to carry all those heavy stocks to the teacher lounge (at 2nd level!!). The stocks are really damn heavy and Ray was sweating like raining!!! We finished the "bazzar" at around 2.3pm. Then we need to carry all those heavy items back to the van again. I really "exercise" alot today, haha.

After that, Ray drove me to cityhall cos I meeting dear there. We catched Rambo 4 at Marina GV. The show was really lame and funny espcially the expression of Rambo. However, for those who LOVE Rambo, you can watch this show cos he still as "heroic" as before. one person can fight all the enemies and so cool as usual, hahaha!! After that, we went to Waraku for dinner. The food there was not as good as Ichiban. I think I can cook better soup udon myself, hahaha.

2nd weeks of work=Last day of work

Haiz after much consideration and struggling, I decided to quit my job ( I only need 1 day notice). I tendered my resignation yesterday to Mr W and Cc to my boss. Mr W asked me to consider first cos boss was not in office. I took one day to consider, finally today I made up my mind decided to quit my job. Boss did asked me for reason, I just told him I dont like the environment and job scope, he did asked me to consider again, but I still rejected him. Haiz, really feel guilty and bad. Anyway need to start afresh again. By the way, want to tell someone that PLEASE MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!! Really hate it when you boast around and lecture me as if you are very capable!!! Sux man!!

Boring Day

I have been rotting at home for the whole day (Sleep, Eat, Chat in msn and Watch TV). Although that sound boring but I like this type of life, hahaha. Well actually today nothing much to blog cos I really do nothing much at home. Anyway I had my toes nails painted with hot pink, still not bad, haha. Ok think that all for now, BYE =)

Finally Friday

Gosh, time flies, I have been working for 1 week!!! These five days really 有惊无险，又过一天 the feeling, hahaha. I have learned alot of things from Mr W. He is a nice man yet very strict toward me. He will ensured I learnt all the procedures and typed it out in Word, so that i can easily refer to the document next time when he leave the company (end of Feb). Sometime I do feel angry with him cos he thinks I'm a superwoman, can absorb so many things in my brain. He still asked the technician to train me how to operate and test on the machine (Gosh, I am Admin cum Marketing cum Engineer now!! haha). The programmer still asked Mr W to let me have a break for 1 week cos he scare I'll breakdown!! Mr W still told him that this is called MILITARY TRAINING!!! =( However I cant blame him cos he will be leaving soon and he really hope I can learn as much as possible. Sometimes really feel like giving up, haiz. Yesterday I still feel angry with him that he's not goin to employ a new Admin Assisstant but today I realised I have misunderstand him. He has been calling Singapore Press Holding for almost 2 hours in the afternoon, just to post a Recruit Advertisment with them (Sorry Mr W, I have wronged you =P). Hopefully next monday will have alot of interested candidates sending in their resume to him.

Today I have learned another "new" thing from him, which is we have to take turn to buy drinks for all the colleagues and boss (lucky only 9 of us) during lunch time. Initially, he still told me that everyday we'll have free tea to drink, I still thought all the staffs have free tea from canteen, then he told me that sooner will be my turn to treat the others for free drink. Gosh, I never know got this type of culture, haha.

Finally it weekend!!! I am going to sleep for the whole day on Saturday, hahaha. Maybe sunday will meet up dear to celebrate his b'day (advance celebration). Hopefully Monday will not come so soon (confirm monday blue, haha)

Ok I shall stop now. Going to watch my 恶作剧2吻 at Youku now, hehe.

First Day of Work

Today is my first day of work. I woke up at around 6.40pm( my sis need to wake up at 7.15am). Actually I didn't sleep well last night even though my eyes are closed. I left home around 7.50am (mum nagged at me to leave the house earlier cos she scared I late), take MRT to YCK and change to bus 72 ( the queue was damn long!!!!! But luckily the frequency was fast enough). I reached office around 8.50am. I saw my lady boss early in the morning (Boss went to KL). After awhile, saw this new lady, the new Admin Assistant. After that, Mr W came to office (He's the uncle that opened the door and asked me to fill in the application form). Initially I thought Mr W is an uncle that doing odd job in the office, but surprisingly, he is the Admin/Marketing Manger and we are supposed to take over his position, Haha. He briefed us on our appointment letter and rules and regulation. After that he asked us got any doubts or not before we signed the appointment letter. I think the new lady was not satisfied with the benefits and the workload given to her, she said she need to consider before signing the appointment letter. Mr W was abit shocked, but he told her that most of the companies practise multi-tasking but he still gave us time to consider before signing the appointment letter.

Then Mr W started our training session. He taught us how to use the email, MYOB and other necessary things. We had our lunch at 1pm (all the staffs in the company went to lunch together, cos they wan to save the electricity, haha). After that, I read up the brochures and other stuffs. At around 3pm++, I realised the new lady was disappeared, and Mr W realised I keep looking at the new lady's desk, then he told me that she gave up the job offer and left the company!!! OMG, hopefully I wont leave the company that fast, haha.

Finshed my work on time (6.18pm) and meet up dear dear at J8. We had Thai express food(Green Curry, seafood tom yum soup and fried season bean) for dinner. After that shop awhile before went home. Anyway today is really a tiring day and I got to get use to my working life, haiz.

Ah Di Udon Recipe

This udon recipe is specially dedicate to my dear PHOEBE (Gal, I'm not sure whether it edible or not, but till now I'm still feeling OK, haha!!)

Ingredients:
1 Packet of udon (Any brand will do)
Prawns (depend on how many prawns you want to eat)
1 Fishcake (depend on what type of fishcake you prefer)
1 Egg ( you can have more than 1 egg if you like to eat EGG)
Mince meat (depend on how much you wan to eat)
Crabmeat (depend on how many crab meat you want to eat)
Light Soya Sauce (small amount will do unless you like it to be salty)
Dark Soya Sauce (small amount will do, just to make the udon look "nicer)
Pepper (depend on how much you prefer)
Salt ( a small pinch will do)

Cooking Procedure:
1. Cut open the udon packet and rinse it with tap water, then drip the water before you cook.
2. Put a small amout of oil on to the frying pan. Wait for the oil to get hot
3. Put the mince meat on the frying pan, fry it till it turn 1/2 cook
4. Crack the egg and fry with the mince meat (scramble egg with mince meat)
5. Put the udon on to the frying pan and fry together with the egg and mince meat
6. Put in the prawns, fish cakes and crab meat (cut into dice and put in later because it get cook easily)
7. Fry all together
8. Pour abit of water (1/4 of a bowl will do)
9. Add the seasoning (ligh soya sauce, dark soya sauce, pepper and salt)
10. Fry again till smoke come out (mean it cooked. You can taste the flavour and add extra seasoning if you think it does not taste good)
11. Complete. You can either pour it on to a plate or eat it while it still steaming hot in the frying pan.

Boring Day

Today is really a boring day for me. Wake up at 10am, drank half a glass of vitasoy for my breakfast. After that chat awhile in msn before doing all the house chores (Washing clothes, Iron clothes, sweeping floor and wiping the cupboard). I had my late lunch at around 2pm (first time try cook fried udon and it taste not bad, haha). Today the sky really made fun of me cos I hanged out my clothes to dry and the sky turned dark and rained (it happened twice!!!). End up, I so pissed off and hang my clothes indoor. I had mushroom campbell soup, toast bread and tuna for dinner. Well those goes my day and another day is coming again. (Counting down to my working life).

Mixed Feeling Day

I went for an interview at Linkwise Technology yesterday. The interview went well and the boss offer me the post on the spot as he thinks I'm the right candidate who is responsible, hardworking and positive(hahaha!!). Intially I asked him am I the only candidate who came for the interview, he said OF CAUSE NOT!! There are still alot of candidates!! Then he asked me whether want to accept the offer or need to consider. I told him I need to consider. He said of cause I can consider, but he'll still open the post to other candidates, so no gurantee that I will get the post later. I really thought of accept the offer on the spot, but the company is really small (only 9 person). But after 2 days of consideration (seeking alot of opinions from friends, sisters, bf and parent), I finally accepted their offer cos I want to gain experience in Marketing field. I believe I can gain alot of experience by working in a small coy cos I'll need to multi-task and learn alot of things. Anyway I'll start working on next Monday. I'm back to society again!!! hahaha. Back to today incident. I went to Sim Lim Square to collect my lucky draw gift (the managment office close at 5pm). I was rushing down and reached around 4.55pm but I lost my way while searching for the office. End up, I reached the office at 5.04pm and the aunty told me that I cant collect my gift cos the person in charge already went home ( she said in very rude manner!!!) I was so angry, I told her I was late because I got lost and cant find my way here ( the management office is located at a corner of the carpark !!!) Then she said she also cant do anything cos the gifts are not in the office. Gosh, What type of execuse is that? Dont tell me the person in charge carry all the gifts home everyday???!!!! I was so pissed and I just walked out of the office. I wont go down to collect the gift again. Anyway it just some cheapskate gifts (SD card reader and a handphone case). After that, I met up angela and Angeline for dinner (left out gerald again as she need to do OT). We went Marina Square foodcourt for dinner, talked abit of craps and we went shopping awhile. After that, we took MRT home and we saw this lady, I think there's something wrong with her eyes. She keep starring and "diao" everyone in the cabin, hahaha. Well anyway, that goes my Thursday.

Interview at JAC Recruitment

I just came back from JAC recruitment. The lady(my interviewer) asked me a few questions like: What types of marketing job I prefered (she listed down a few job categories under Marekting) and I told her not sales & marketing. Then she asked me beside Marketing job, am I willing to try other job scopes. I told her Yes, in HR and Buyer (she claimed that buyer is under logistics). She noted down everything I mentioned. After awhile, she asked about my strengths and weakeness (really hate this type of question, haha). After that she told me that there is a job offer for me, at Tiong bahru. But after discussing with her about the job scope and the contract, disappointed to say, I have to reject their offer cause their contract was really complicated. I need to pay JAC if I break the contract. That is really risky!!! Anyway while waiting for the interview at JAC, I received another phone call for an interview offer, on wed. Hopefully things can turn out well. Tomorrow will meet up Jasmine and Sirong for klunch. I will update my blog again =D

Science Centre Day

I met dear in the morning around 10.3oam. We went to change his graphical card (Sorry that I made a blur mistake, the place was not at Comfort Driving Centre, it was the OPPOSITE building called Sunlight, haha). After that, we went to Eunos hawker centre for lunch. I had lor Mee (cost $2.50) and dear had Mee Goreng (cost $3) as well as sharing a cup of sugarcane juice. The food portion was really big and it was cheap too!!! So long never eat such good and cheap food. After the lunch, we took MRT to Jurong East and to our today destination: SCIENCE CENTRE!!! Yippeee.

We reached Science Centre around 2.15pm. We bought the entrance tickets and entered the entrance. We went to a few stations before watched 2 IMAX movies (Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs at 3pm and Hurricane on the Bayou at 4pm). After the movies, we continue our journey in Science Centre. But the Science Centre closed at 6pm and we missed out a few stations, haiz. Dear said we shall go back again one day, haha. After that, we went Jurong Entertainment Centre Pizza Hut for dinner before we went home. Anyway I really enjoy myself alot today =D

Another Shopping Day

I met up with Jane at town today as I needed to pass her my eyeliner pen which I offered her at $2 (She gave me $4 as she thought the eyeliner pen worthed more than $2, haha). Before I met her at Taka, I bought my G2000 pant at Wisma. Luckily, I was managed to get the pant cos alot of outlets already out of stock. I bought the grey one and helped my sis to get the black one as well. We shopped around Taka and after that we headed to Cineleisure, Centrepoint and PS. Jane bought a 3/4 pant and a lacy cap sleeve blouse for $15 each at PS Outfitters. Initially, I was intended to get the cap sleeve blouse too, but after much consideration, I have decided to drop the idea as I know I'll seldom wear such a sexy blouse (I'm very conservative, hahaha). I bought a pair of heels at PS URS for $22.27 (after 10% discount +10 discount using UOB card + rebated $2.37 from my UOB Smart point). We had our dinner at Ichiban (Yes, Ichiban again, hahaha!!) from 6pm-7.30pm as we had a long conversation while having our dinner. After the dinner, We headed to PS John Little to shop awhile more before we departed at around 8.45pm.

I reached home at around 9.30pm. My mum and sis think I wasted $$$ on heels and clothing again (Haiz, I have been very thrifty for all this while, why they always think I like to spend alot??) I am just trying to get myself some new clothes and shoes for my working life (still searching for job actively). After bathing, I started to look for job again from Jobstreet, JobCentral and JobDB. Dear called me at around 11.45pm. He told me that he'll be taking leave tomorrow. He asked me to accompany him to Paya Lebar Comfort Driving Centre to change his graphic card (so weird, Comfort Driving Centre got sell graphic card??) and after that we'll go to SCIENCE CENTRE!!! YEAH, I have not been to Science Centre since I was in primary school. I cant wait for tomorrow to arrive. I will upload photos of Science Centre tomorrow, so stay tune!!! Ok time for me to sleep, Good Night Everyone Zzzz...

First Day of 2008

Once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I woke up late as usual (around 10am) and had hotdog +bread + milk for breakfast. After that, helping my dear to change the date format in his excel files (Damn alot to change and I need to rush as dear need it urgently). After awhile, had fried bee hoon for lunch and red bean ice-cream for desert (Yummy!) I also edited my blog (just realised I can customize my blog using all those edit buttons provided!) All the while I've been doing it manually by embeded with html coding!. Gosh, I think I've been staying in the well! haha. After that, took my shower and continued changing the date in the excel files. I watched abit of TV show and had dinner. After dinner, continued my routine again. Anyway, today is a normal and boring day for me =)
