Crab Feast

Supposed to meet up Camel and Sotong for lunch at 1.30pm in Cityhall, but Sotong was overslept and end up only me and camel went to LJS for lunch while waiting for Sotong to come. Owl suggested that we shall have crab for dinner and we keep asking our friend whether is there any place that sell nice crab (at the same time had our tea break at Xin Wang Cafe, hehe). Finally we have decided to have our crab Feast at Toa Payoh Mellben Crab (龙海螃蟹). Luckily Sotong's sis told her the place Block number and Thanks to Gary that verbally guided me to there.

Luckily we reached there quite early, so not very crowded. We queued up for our number and made our order first. Then we had to stand aside while waiting for our number to be called before get sitted down. Finally we get sitted down and our delicious dinner "arrived". We had Crab Bee Hoon, Shimmer Crab and Chilli Kangkong and it cost only $97!!! I think it's very worth it cos the crabs are so big and meaty!! very YUMMY!! I still feel very full now, haha =D

Langkawi Trip 5-7 Aug 2009

Hey all, I'm back from my Langkawi trip!! It was an an enjoyable and relax trip. Though it was a 3D2N short trip but I feel that I have been staying there for weeks cos the life there are simply too relax, haha!! I have colleages some pictures for this 3D2N trip. We met up at Budget Terminal. While waiting for our flight: Tiger Airways (TR472), we had Macdonald for our "Brunch" and took some photos =)




Finally reached our destination LANGKAWI! We checked in to our Hotel: Bayview Hotel, which was located at Kuah, Central area of Langkawi. After that we took a cab down (Cab fare cost RM6) to Langkawi Fair, the biggest shopping centre in Langkawi. We shopped awhile in the shopping centre and walked down to the Jetty, where we were able to see this BIG EAGLE (known as Eagle Square). While walking along the way, we saw another tourist sight, which was this Legenda Langkawi. Nothing special, just a few pieces of rock with the Langkawi map engraved on it. We took some pictures and walked back to the Langkawi fair and took a cab back to our hotel again. Had a tired Day 1.




Intially we intended to book a 1 day tour excursion for our snorkeling trip to Pulau Paya beach, so we checked out the rate at the hotel business centre. Each person cost RM250 (internat rate is cheaper at RM 200). So we checked with the person whether is there any nearest beach that we can go and enjoy ourself. He recommeneded us to Pantai Cenang Beach. So after much discussion and consideration, we decided to go to Cenang Beach which was only 25 mins drive from our hotel (Cab Fare cost RM24). Finally reached the beach, the weather was very sunny and it was good for sun tanning. So we relaxed and had an enjoyable time at the beach. After that we took a cab back to our hotel again.




After a thorough clean up at our hotel room, Me and Ling decided to go for our SPA session at Alun Alun Spa, which was located at level 3 of our hotel. I had read the comments from forum that this spa is quite famous in Langkawi. Intially Yen intended to dye her hair as well, but the SPA reception told us that she has to book an appointment 1 day earlier so that the hair dresser will come down to do the hair for her. End up Yen can't do her hair and she was also not keen in doing the SPA with us. So she decided to go back to the hotel room to wait for us. I chose the Detoxification body scrub and Ling chose the Refreshing/After Sun tann body Scrub. The spa session was wonderful and I really felt so relax after doing it. You all should give it a try if you visit Bayview Hotel.




Langkawi has no special food. It was just the same as in Singapore. So these 2 days we mostly have " Zi Cha" and those western food for our meal. Anyway the food taste still not bad.

On the last day, we did nothing much, just had our breakfast and went back to our room to rot before checked out and headed to airport to take our flight back to Singapore.

Shape Run 2009

I just came back from the Shape Run and the feeling was wonderful!!! (except my legs cos having muscleache now, haha). I managed to complete my 5km run around 44 mins 44 secs (4444 not a good number but I still managed to come back in one piece =P). I thought once I stepped on the ending point, there will be an automatic detection machine to track our number, however I was wrong. There was this lady carried a detect machine and scanned our number bib one by one. End up, I think my timing become 45-46 mins. That mean my certificate will not reflect the 44 mins 44 secs, so sad. Anyway, I enjoyed the run today and will join more of this type of marathon in the near future =D

After work, met up with Phoebe at Lot 1 New York New York for dinner and to celebrate our birthday. I got a handmade paper clips woody box from Phoebe and I got her a Poohbear tank top from FOX. Had a wonderful celebration with her =D

Meeting up with my Ex

Met up my ex for movies maraton at GV Vivocity. We Watched 3D Ice Age 3 at 11.15am. The theatre was kinda empty cos not many people are watching the cartoon. But the cartoon was funny and the characters are so cute. I like it alot, hehe. Then we had our lunch at Food Republic before we watched Transformer 2 at 3.25pm. Transformer was only so-so. I am kinda sad when Optimus Prime was dead halfway the show but luckily he was survived again. Optimus Prime is COOL and AWESEOME!! ( My New Idol, hehe). Then after that went to Marina Square, Changing Appetitie for dinner and collected my Shape Run Number Tab and the T-Shirt. Anyway wanna thanz my ex for the movies and the birthday present =)

Birthday Celebration 2009

Met up Camel, Sotong and Jie for buffet Lunch at Honjin Japanese restaurant at 11.30am. The lunch was having a promotion, 1 for 1 if payment in DBS / POSB Credit / Debit Card. We had a very full lunch. After that, we went shopping and headed to Swenwen for my free birthday complimentary Ice-Cream, hehe. Thanks to Camel, Sotong and Jie for the free buffet lunch. I had a wonderful birthday celebration =D
